Founded by a CIO. Run to a CIO's standard.
Net Tech IT was founded by Patricio (Pat) Colombo, an enterprise CIO with more than thirty years spent building and running technology at scale, for a global sports league, for one of Britain’s best-known restaurant groups, and for an industrial business operating across fourteen countries.
The idea behind Net Tech IT is simple: bring that level of thinking to smaller organisations, without the enterprise price tag or the layers in between.
“Most IT support fixes what’s in front of it and waits for it to break again. I spent thirty years running IT where that was never acceptable. Net Tech IT exists to bring that standard to organisations that would never need, or want to pay for, a full-time CIO.”

Why Net Tech IT works differently
Most IT support fix what is in front of them, and later wait for it to break again. We work the way enterprise IT does: We find the underlying cause, and engineer it out, so the problem stays solved. It’s quieter, it’s more predictable, and over time it costs far less than the alternative.
That standard shapes everything we do:
- We fix the cause, not the symptom. Patching, monitoring, tested backups and access hygiene done on a schedule, so problems don’t come back. A predictable per-user price means we win when your systems stay quiet.
- Built to a CIO’s standard. The judgement behind the service was formed running IT at enterprise scale, and it’s the standard everything at Net Tech IT is held to.
- Close, accessible, straight-talking. Requests are tracked properly, because that’s how nothing gets lost, but you’re not just a number in a queue. You have a direct line to people who genuinely know your setup. Plain English, always.
- We understand how your world actually runs. We’ve run IT inside sport, hospitality, multi-site industry, education and care, so we read the pressure points without being told.
Run the modern way
We run the way we’d advise you to. Net Tech IT is a lean operation by design, and we use AI every day to work faster, catch more and keep everything documented. That’s how a small, senior team can give you the attention and rigour you’d expect from a much larger provider. The tools do the legwork; the judgement, and the responsibility, stay firmly human. Your information is treated with the same care as everything else we touch.
Thinking about AI in your own business? We use it daily to run ours, so we can give you a straight, hype-free view of where it’s genuinely worth the effort, and where it isn’t. If that’s on your mind, just ask.
